The Well of Knowledge 2021 – Godparents project
With this project we help poor children in schooling and their overall development, their families who are in most cases dysfunctional, whether one or both parents have died, or the parents are divorced and many times left in the care of a family or to someone who provides them with a roof over their heads.
How to become a GODPARENT?
1. With your financial contribution of 140 $ (120 euros) you enable the implementation of extracurricular programs, as well as school expenses for children living with family or relatives in Ecuador, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, Cuba, Venezuela, Mozambique.
The help is divided into three parts:
· 60 $ (school costs: uniforms, supplies, food)
· 60 $ (extracurricular activities: adequate teachers, educations, field trips, spiritual renewals, appropriate celebrations for children)
· 25 $ (overhead: lease, volunteers and employees of Zdenac)
You become the godfather of a child for one year. If you want to continue and provide the education of your assigned child, it is necessary to renew the godfatherhood in time. Sometimes due to moving to another place or other reasons, the children leave the program, but then you are assigned a new godson.
By scanning the code, you can be a godfather/godmother to a poor child.

2. Godparent to a child in Zdenac’s boarding school
To help children who do not have any conditions at home and who do not have anyone of their own, they are placed in a boarding school. Their year of schooling with accommodation is 350 $.

3. Godparent to talented poor students
For children who want to continue their university education (doctors, priests, teachers etc.) and have all the conditions for enrolment, the school year costs 60 $ per month.

4. Godfather / godmother-breadwinner-children of blessings
Godparents bread-winners provide foster children with food and medicine to survive. Zdenac’s volunteers host them during the day and take care of their health, upbringing and education.
In this way, the godparent regenerates the child of misfortune into the child of blessing. He/she raises a street person and a potential delinquent into a happy person, a child from whom everyone turns their head away into a boy and a girl of nice and good behaviour.
Monthly basic costs are 25 $ per child.
Annual costs are 300 $.
The godfather or godmother receives a photograph and a short story about the child and the spiritual mother or father.
